About Jonathan

Jonathan is a passionate foodie born and bred in Kent. Having always had a keen appreciation and love for Kentish food his frustration grew over the years by his reliance of the supermarkets and disconnection with agriculture. Jonathan loved produce from the Garden of England but realised how difficult it is to buy, how expensive it can be, how shop opening times can be a frustration and thats forgetting the difficult farmers!

So he went about solving this little conundrum. Jonathan got together a few of those difficult farmers and started Foodari. Bringing together the best food from across this great county of ours and make it available to all in a convenient fashion. Foodari  are blessed with fantastic meat, fish, fresh veg, the world’s best fruit and we also have some of the nation’s best cheeses and they are all now available to buy from one website www.foodaridirect.co.uk.

Jonathan’s business has gone from strength to strength as the appetite for local produce has grown. Now not only supplying homes across Kent and London but also top quality restaurants, hotels and gastro pubs. All of Foodari’s customers share one belief that they want to know where their food comes from, that it is local, has travelled fewer miles and will arrive tasting fresher and better.

Working in the food business is great fun and certainly keeps him on his toes – whether it is produce constantly changing with the seasons or trying to grow different vegetables but best of all is meeting the producers and tasting their wares. It goes without saying that he has to sample everything he sells!
