About Lenny

My name is Lenny Clark. I am an official Canterbury Cathedral Guide and official Canterbury City Guide. I hold a private pilot’s licence and love flying over Canterbury. I am also a F.I.S.O. (Flight Information Officer ) at Rochester Airport, and am also lead vocalist/guitarist with my own country music band called “Preacher”. We used to be a full time professional band travelling the country but since the invention of the digital backing tracks we had less and less work. We still play whenever possible.

I  was passing the Cathedral one day about 15 years ago when something told me I must go inside. Since then I have become somewhat of an authority on the Cathedral and the city. Previous to this event I had no interest in churches or history, strange eh! I love giving visitors the amazing stories and history of our Cathedral and city, and try to give them a very memorable experience. And many come back. I also give slide show talks on the Cathedral and city.
