Get off the RH&DR and a short walk away and you'll find Dymchurch Fun Fair. Buy tokens and ride the Helter Skelter or ghost train if you dare.

We combined this with a trip on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch railway and had a lovely day out. It is just a short walk from the station, although is obviously visitable on its own. Good for primary children as the rides are "mild" and there is nothing too big/scary. Also uses a token system, so you can pay per ride. Saves you money if you just want to have a look around, play in the arcade and maybe go on just one or two rides.

Great afternoon spent here, enough rides to keep kids happy, good variety of rides. A stones throw from the beach. Had a break half way through for fish and chips on the beach and building sandcastles.

Very enjoyable for the kids.

Dymchurch Fun Fair is also easy to get to by bus or car if you don't fancy the train - although that is a great experience. My kids love the fair and we visit it regularly during the summer months. Although not exactly cheap when you've had enough of the ups and downs in the fair you can always chill out on the beach for free.

After a ride on the RHD railway a nice walk down to the see front and you'll find a couple of arcades and the Dymchurch Fun Fair. There are bumper cars, ghost train and log flume. Chips and Ice cream makes a great day out to the beach.
