A stretch of coastline between the pebbles of Sandgate and Dungeness, Dymchurch has a vast expanse of sandy beach which is currently being protected with impressive new sea defences. The beach offers the traditional English seaside experience from ice cream to donkey rides.

Great day out for all the family. Lots to do, lovely fair for the children and lots of places to stop for great food.

Dymchurch still has the same feel to it just like when I was a child. I now have 3 children who spend hours on the beach at Dymchurch. We have had a carvan on Pipers field for the last 10 years and still do not get bored of going down.

A long forgotten experience on many sandy seaside beaches, but at one point all would have had a group of four legged friends offering kids donkey rides, in todays politically correct society, many have been retired to green pastures, however Dymchurch still possess a small army of well cared for and content donkeys who ply their trade on short pilgrimages along the sands. A must for any young children who still want to experience a slice of long forgotten English seaside heritage, and when finished satisfy the intrepid explorers with a portion of chips with locally caught battered fish.
