    A lovely market town with a mix of old and new shops. There are some great coffee shops to sit in and watch the world go by.

    The centre of Faversham has an amazing number of listed buildings - quite the equal to Sandwich. The town hall is illustrated here. At one time it was a major port but now the river is silted up too much. The home of a famous Kent brewery should there be the need for refreshment!
