A famous castle near Maidstone with beautiful grounds, maze and great playground for the kids. It is thought that King Henry VIII once stayed here for 2 nights whilst travelling.

Once you pay you can go for the next 12 months - we like family deals like this. It's a spectacular castle and grounds. Plenty to always see and the free flying bird show during the warmer months are brilliantly done. I always race the kids to the centre of the maze and my grand daughter loves to peacocks - especially the white one. Great day out with a picnic.

Only one word can describe the Leeds Castle firework display - epic! After seeing these fireworks no others will ever compare. Will be back again this year. Also a ticket to the firework display lets you see round the castle grounds and into the maze so it is very good value for money.

A gem of a place to visit and the season ticket makes it easy to keep going back.

We went to Leeds Castle on the Big Weekend this year - see all my photos - fantastic day! Well worth visiting especially as you can pay once and go free all year.

Short of somewhere to go on a cold, January day, we opted for Leeds Castle .... and what a pleasant surprise! Just before 12th night, so the Xmas decs were still up - I wish I had counted the dozens of trees, almost one in every room of the castle and all beautifully decorated! A real surprise and a real treat. The annual ticket has proved excellent value, as the gardens are lovely to walk around at any time of year and the restaurant a warm and welcoming retreat for lunch or afternoon tea!

I went here for the first time just before Christmas, thick with snow, the trees looked magical, the grounds beautiful, the moat and lakes frozen (which is rare apparently). Full of wildlife, swans both black and white, ducks, I saw a heron too... The castle although small is a stunning building, the library being my favourite part. There is something about a room with all those amazing leather back books. Being in the festive period, each room was decorated beautifully. We stopped in the restaurant for coffee and cake - the cakes were delicious. This is a must see, a perfect day out for lovers of nature, of history and of walking. You will not be disappointed!

Loads to do all year round, visit the castle, the aviary, the play area or walk in the grounds. We love the flower festivals in the castle and the Jousting. Christmas is our favourite time of year with the castle all decorated, children's trail and a special evening visit to the castle and Father Christmas.

With a one year available ticket, Leeds Castle can be visited at every season, from the flowerful spring to the red autumn. This place offers so many different attractions that it is, by itself, the ideal place for kids and those wanna-stay kids. Either lose yourself in the labyrinth or take a look at the falconry.

Great place to visit for adults and children with the vast grounds, including children's play area, maze, birds of prey, avery, castle and lots of grass for the kids to have fun on. They have lots of different events - the jousting is a popular one for the children. The ticket lasts for a year, so well worth it!
