Situated between Herne Bay and Bichington - Reculver Towers set at a very high viewpoint on the cliff overlooking the sea - a very tranquil place to relax and enjoy for families with children. One can walk to Minnis Bay along the promenade or view Herne Bay from the top of the Towers.

A gem on the door step in all honesty, something I didn't know was there until quite recently so took a trip of an evening with the hope of a nice sunset, and there it was. A beautiful evening, the ruins are stunning in silhouette. There is a pub by the car park (however i did not go in). A really lovely place to visit.

My partner in crime surprised me with this during our holiday and it was simple and huge and amazing and gorgeous. The height and the history is so phenomenal, it was breathtaking.
