Madly in love with The Goods Shed during my first holiday in Kent. Amazing foods, great environment, and a great cheese guy :-) Can't wait to return!!

I love everything about the Goods Shed and always buy their vegetables, meat and fish when I entertain friends. 'Posh' sausages and mash with a selection of colourful and tasty vegetables is my favourite meal for foreign guests. The restaurant serves beautiful food and it's fun to eat next to the market stalls. Sunday morning is my favourite shopping time!

With its glorious beams and equally rustic produce, The Goods Shed truly is one of Kent’s hidden gems. The market features several local traders offering everything you could imagine from fresh local fish and organic veg through to fine wines, local ales and extremely moreish pastries and cakes. I can also recommend the restaurant that sits on a raised platform towards the back of the building – particularly for its incredible breakfasts. You’ll often find me tucking in to a full English and a glass of fresh apple juice around 10am most Sundays.
